About SAAV

Stoneham Alliance Against Violence (SAAV) was founded in 2005 by former domestic violence victim liaison Linda Leis, out of a necessity to address the issue of an upswing in town-wide violence. We are a diverse group whose members care greatly about the town of Stoneham and the quality of life of its community.

SAAV advocates for domestic violence victims and survivors by spreading awareness to the issue through educational workshops, events, resources and referrals. We partner with other local alliance organizations to amplify our message and bring a greater sense of understanding to the nuances of domestic & teen dating abuse.

Our mission is to help our community build strong, healthy relationships, dismantle the stigma of domestic violence and bring this issue out of the darkness and into the light.
